About Rie Morita
Hello, everyone! はじめまして(Hazimemashite)! Nice to meet you! My name is Rie Morita from Tokyo, Japan, and I'm excited to be your Japanese teacher. Let me tell you a bit about myself and how I got here.
For the past ten years, I've lived in different parts of the world. I started out pursuing ballet, which led me to spend four and a half years in Germany, training at a state ballet school. After that, I worked as a ballet dancer with three different companies in Germany and the Czech Republic.
Living in other countries has been amazing. I've met people from all over and visited many places. I've also met people who love Japan and its culture. Being part of this global community, where English is often spoken, made me realize how important it is to learn the language of the place you're in. It's a way to understand the culture, history, and people better.

My Journey as a Japanese Teacher
My journey with Japanese teaching began naturally from my love of language and culture. I started teaching in 2020 and quickly discovered how much I enjoy helping others connect with Japanese, not only through grammar and vocabulary, but also through its history, traditions, and everyday expressions. Over time, this grew into teaching both private lessons and small group sessions, supporting learners at different stages of their journey.
As a Japanese teacher, my goal is not only to help you learn the language, but also to introduce you to Japanese culture and history in a meaningful and enjoyable way. I look forward to starting this journey with you and exploring the Japanese language together.
